Clothing does not have to be boring to be considered formal wear, such as long skirts or dresses. Back then women dressed up for formal occasions, compared to how they dressed for everyday occasions. Speaking currently into today, some women just have a preference for formal wear. The reasons may be due to age or just personal opinions. However, the majority of the time if a person dresses in formal wear for everyday occasions they will mix and match it with dressed down pieces. With the busy lives we live today people don’t normally dress formally, they will for special occasions. Women formal wear was such a huge trend and was expected back in the day. Now, if a person dresses formally people are almost amazed and will think it is for a very special occasion. May we not forget, that some women just like to keep it classy.
